Scaffolding fitter

Job description: The person employed in this position will assemble and dismantle Layher type modular scaffolding on residential and commercial premises in Belgium. The duties also include loading and unloading the material as well as assembling scaffolding on scenes. Work in an international environment and the possibility to work in permanent teams.

Duties:

• Assembling and dismantling façade scaffolding
• Selecting the elements for scaffolding, checking their quality
• Preparing the area for scaffolding
• Assembling and scaffolding setting at the construction site
• Joining the individual scaffold components with clamps and couplers
• Laying and securing the working platforms
• Checking the entire structure for safety
• Dismantling of scaffolding after completion of work
• Assembling scaffolding on scenes

Requirements:

• Professional experience in this profession
• Good physical condition
• Spatial imagination
• At least basic English language skills

Nice to have:

• IMBiGS certificate (earth-moving machine operator’s logbook – fitter certificate)
• VCA Safety Certificate
• Category B driving licence
